Nd:Ce:YAG laser crystal
Neodymium and cerium co-doped Yttrium Aluminium Garnet (Nd:Ce:Y3Al5O12 or Nd:Ce:YAG) crystal characterized by high efficiency, low threshold, good anti-UV irradiation, and good thermal stability similar to Nd:YAG crystal, is an excellent laser crystal used for no-water cooling and miniature laser systems. Efficiently pumped by flash-lamp, Nd:Ce:YAG crystal gives rise to laser at 1064.14nm in both pulsed and CW operation modes.
